ICC 2000 - Questions and Answer form

Over the last few weeks we seem to be coming up with certain questions, which are very frequently asked and which we hereby like to answer:

Payment transferal details:

Question: What is the exact amount I have to pay - how can I pay - and when do I have to pay ?

    Answer :

    Registration fee US $ 175.00
Photo pass (stills only) US $ 30.00
    Photo & Video pass US $ 50.00
    Gala Show US $ 20.00
Workshop per hour US $ 15.00

All you need to do is to check any of the above items and see what you want to book, add it up and you will get the exact amount of money you will be charged for (Registration fee is essential for all other options). Many of you might not want to join the workshops i.e., or some of you might only want the photo pass for 30.00 US $ instead of both photo and video for 50.00 US $, so you just deduct the 20.00 US $ from your transferal etc. We hope that this chart will make it a bit easier for you to decide on what you actually want to go for.

It is possible (and maybe not a bad idea) to pay for the workshop(s) on location - cause we do not know the number and content of all them workshops now.

But AT LEAST the registration fee has to be paid in advance - and only if we receive your money by July 31 we can guarantee your registration !! (due to limited space for the convention AND the hotel rooms)

NEW ! We added a form for credit card payment. Please print this form, fill in the necessary data, sign it and send it by mail or fax to the address/number printed on the form.
The other option is to pay by bank transfer (for your convenience you can transfer to a bank in the US or in Germany). Please read the bank transfer details in our info page

Hotel Reservations

Question: who is booking my hotel room and how do I pay for it?

    Answer:

So far we have blocked a capacity of 50 rooms alltogether. We might get more rooms at a later point in time in the hotel where the convention will take place, but this is not certain. So all we can do for now is to distribute those 50 rooms amongst those of you who make the first 50 firm commitments. If and when those rooms are gone, we will publsih this on one of our updates and we will then have to ask all other participants to make their own hotel reservations.

The fee for the hotel rooms must not be paid with the ICC fees. They will have to be paid on the day of departure directly to the hotel. We will however give the hotel a list of those 50 participants who will stay in the Convention Hotel.

Some of you have asked whether it is possible to book a double room and have an extra bed for a third person put in. That will be possible, but might involve an extra little fee.

Please observe though, that according to the Nevada States Law rooms can not be occupied by minors under the age of 18, unless a parent is with them too. This might be particularily important for trainers who want to come with some young talent and are not in a position to share rooms. Please inform me (Ska von Schöning) in any such case, so we can look into some solutions.

Sight Seeing

Question: what kind of activities can you recommand around the ICC.

    Answer:

The ICC hotel can provide you with a lot of information about sightseeing trips which you can book through them directly. Especially the Canyon trips, whether by car, bus or helicopter are most recommandable. Of course there is also the Hoover Dam and Lake Meat which are worth a trip. Apart from that Vegas itself offers so many attractions anyway and the hotel provides a shuttle bus to the Strip where all the main hotels and attractions are located. The ICC hotel is approximately 20 to 25 mins off the Strip.

Family members

Question: if I want to bring my family with me. What do I need to pay?

    Answer:

Anyone who actively participates (whether family member or not) has to pay the above fees. However, if your family member only wants to join the Gala Showevent on the last night of the ICC, this will be no problem and only the fee for this special event will apply
