( August 12, 2011 ) - International Contortion Convention 2011 Previous post Next post

Dear Friends,

As we told you in our last update, there is more exciting news coming in every day. First we would like to announce the additional performers and show acts we were able to get for our Gala Events. Again Ladies, thank you so much for your interest in our event and for performing at our shows !

The GANBAATAR SISTERS : Erdenesuvd and Buyankhishig were both born in Ulaanbator/Mongolia. When Erdenesuvd was a child, her father had the mind set for her to be a concert pianist. From the age of 6 to 10 years old she would practice a little piano, a little gymnastics and lots of contortion. She then attended Mongolian States Circus for training under one of the greatest Mongolian contortionists and teachers, Majigsuren, to perfect the art of contortion.

By the age of 12 years she was performing all over Mongolia, Japan and Europe. By the age of 14 she was already a professional artist working in shows all over the world. The younger sister Buyankhishig was always around watching her older sibling, never realizing that she herself had an interest in the art of contortion. Until one day Erdenesuvd watched her little sister secretly practicing contortion at home doing the most difficult moves. On that very day the new show act THE GANBAATAR SISTERS was born.

Some of you might get worried to miss out on some activities, since we offer so many with some of them happening at the same time as others. Don’t worry about that. We are still trying to hold a little extra space for workshops and photo sessions etc… , so we can repeat some, if there is additional demand.

We will publish the show/performer schedule within the next few days. Be prepared for two great shows, full of wonderful performers and acts !

That’s all for now. Please make sure you study our schedules carefully. We need to know, what you are interested in and which activities you would like to join.

It is vital for us and for the organizational part of this event to get your feedback, because we only have a certain amount of space and time to put everybody into the right spot !

Please write to me - Ska - at Skasy2@me.com or Skasy2@gmail.com if you feel you still need further information on our schedules and in regards to what you should register for. I specifically still need your feedback on
