Yes we know !! It´s been far too long since our last contortion convention -- so let´s get the next one rolling.

Many of you have asked - and our answer is a "no talk - pure fun" event packed with contortion workshops for young talents -- culminating in a big Gala show with competition and prizes. The ICC 2009 Jeunesse !
From basic to advanced contortion training to choreography - the best contortion and dance coaches are ready to work with you for two full days - and then lead you through preparation, staging and rehearsals for the big Finale ! |

The big showroom of Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Vegas is the stage for our final Gala show - a moment you will never forget !! Bring your parents and friends - and be the one to receive a "contortion oscar" for your performance.
Since we are always asked about dates and fees - here are the first infos for you.
We would like to point out, that the International Contortion
Convention is -- and always has been -- a NON-PROFIT event.
Most of us are rendering their services (such as travel, websites,
workshops etc...) free of charge. However we are facing a lot of
charges -- only to mention the hotel convention and show rooms and
many other costs which are involved in organising such an event.
Nevertheless we are trying to keep the costs for our attendees as
reasonable as possible.

When and where is the convention ?

From Sept 1 to 3, 2009 the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas NV will host our workshops and the Gala show.

How much is the attendance fee ?

The general attendance fee for active participants (under 18) incl. one accompying person age 18 or older is 170 US$ - which includes show tickets for both

Each additional person in a participants´ group is 50 US$ - incl. show ticket

General attendants (age 18 and older) pay 300 US$ - incl. show ticket. They are welcome to visit all workshops and other events - plus staging and rehearsals for the show

What are the fees for the workshops ?

Workshops "Basic contortion training" : 60 minutes - 35 US$

Workshops "Advanced contortion training" : 60 minutes - 40 US$

Combined workshops "Basic + advanced contortion training" : 120 minutes - 65 US$

Workshops "Choreography" : 60 minutes - 35 US$

Are there any workshops for fans and accompanying people ?

Yes - we will offer one or two 120 minute workshops "stretching and contortion" (open to all attendants) for 65 US$

I only want to watch the Gala show - what about tickets ?

There are "Show only" tickets available for 30 US$ - but they are only valid for the show (no rehearsals or staging or pre-show activities)

Is there a special deal for hotel rooms at the Sunset Station ?

We have blocked rooms for room rates of 50 US$ per night (Sun-Thu) and 80 US$ per night (Fri+Sat) - based on double occupancy. A third and/or fourth person will be charged at 15 US$ per night each.

A 10.95 US$ Hotel amenity fee will be added per room and night - including :

The above room rates are subject to Clark County room tax, currently at 10% - and have to be paid at the hotel
Can I come without an accompanying person ?

No - sorry - but the laws in Vegas are very strict : "Under no circumstances shall a minor be allowed to check in or occupy a hotel room without the accompaniment of at least one person over the age of 21".
