We now want to give you a general schedule of what
is happening during the ICC.
As we assume that most of our participants will already be in Vegas on Monday, August 31 - the day before the official start of the convention - we would like to meet you all in the evening of August 31 at the coffee shop of the SUNSET STATION HOTEL & CASINO. We will be there from 7pm. This will give us the opportunity to meet and get to know one another a bit. It is also a good chance to clarify some last minute details and answer some general questions you might have. |

On
September 1, 2009 at 9 am
we have the official opening of the convention in the PINTA
conference room upstairs at the SUNSET HOTEL. We will inform the
registration desk about our conference rooms, just in case you get a little
lost. They will help you to find your way. We will also try to put up a few
sign to help you around our event (if the hotel allows it).
At 10 am we will start our workshops. We have rented two conference rooms at the location, where the workshops will be held. They will on on until 5 pm. At 6 pm the studio of Angelique and Otgo will give a presentation of their work -most probably- at the PINTA conference room or -if we can get it, but which is not sure yet- at the Show Room of the Sunset Station. The day will finish around 8 or 9 pm. |

On September 2
we will start again with our workshops which will stretch out
throughout the day until 9 pm in the evening. We are just putting
the times and names for the workshops -according the the individual
requests we got from you- together. Some of the workshops will be at
the PINTA conference room - just in case you don´t know where to go.
Some final changes will most probably done on the 31st of August - for
those who have not put in their requests yet or want different times
and/or workshops.
Please be aware that it will not be possible to change everything around for to some last minute requests. But we will try our best to go along with your wishes and schedules. On September 3 we will be in the big Show Room. We will have rehearsals and 2 shows. One show will mainly present our nice new artists and students who want to show off their skills without entering our competition. The last show will be the show with artists competing for our -first time ever- International Contortion Award. The jury will consist of our coaches and specialists. The evening will finish around 10 pm. This is the main schedule for you to know what is going on during the convention. |

On August 31 and September 1 in the morning latest we
will hand over the workshop schedule to all our students.
Other activities such as photo- and video shoots and filming will be organized throughout the event and will will keep you updated whilst we go along. This will give you the opportunity to join some special photo session etc - if and when you wish to do so. |

WE WOULD AT THIS POINT LIKE TO POINT OUT
AGAIN THAT THERE WILL BE NO PHOTO - OR VIDEO SHOOTING DURING THE WORKSHOPS.
YOU WILL HOWEVER BE ALLOWED TO SHOOT PHOTOS AND VIDEOS DURING THE REHEARSALS
AND THE SHOWS.
Also it is vital to point out again that NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WORKSHOPS OR SHOWS WITHOUT THE WRITTEN CONSENT OF THEIR PARENTS. See our form here (ICC - Release of liability ) For all those students who are coming without their parents please make sure to bring this form with you. It is not enough if the coach accompanying the student signs this release !! As you know we will also have various press, TV and other people - as we announced in our recent updates - there to take photos, do interviews and film the event. IF ANY OF YOU/PARENTS DO NOT WISH YOUR CHILD TO BE FILMED, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO INFORM US IN WRITING to ska@vnet.de. |

We are attaching a release form for National Geographic TV herewith ( Link to NGTV Release form ). All parents will have to sign this in the name of their children and themselves. We will not take any responsibility for any future claims or changes, if you fail to do so. Again, we will have these forms available at the location. But we need those parents to sign them in advance if they are not accompanying those children who are participating in the event. Please be aware that there will be no fees paid neither by the National Geographic TV Station nor by us Ska von Schöning and/or the organizers around the International Contortion Convention 2009 for any such appearances on these programs (as mentioned above) That is all for now.
